Dr. Stone is an outpatient therapist, who works in the Aurora Women's Pavilion of West Allis Memorial Hospital. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), and of the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH). Dr. Stone is also on faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine and is an adjunct professor at Marquette University. In addition to general psychological disorders (such as depression and anxiety), Dr. Stone also works with sub-specialties of children and adolescents/teens, trauma/abuse, self-harming behavior, infertility and sexual health/dysfunction. She is also a certified sex therapist through AASECT, and works in the Aurora Center for Sexual Health & Wellness at West Allis Memorial. Dr. Stone utilizes a therapeutic model stressing a collaborative relationship with the patient and family and/or couple incorporating communication with the family, school, referring physician and/or psychiatrist as appropriate.
